I’m Taylor Harvey, founder of Idée Models.

I was scouted at 17 and spent four years working as a model with top agencies around the world. From international runways to campaigns—like shooting for Valentino with Mario Testino—I’ve seen the fashion industry from the inside out.

After modeling, I shifted focus. I returned to university to study English Literature and later moved to Montréal to pursue a master’s degree. But I never really left the industry. I came back to it—as an agent—and have spent the past six years helping shape talent and careers from the other side of the lens.

That experience—both sides of it—shaped the way I see this industry. I’ve seen the pressures, the pitfalls, and the incredible potential when models are treated with respect and care.

I started Idée because I believe representation should feel personal. Not transactional. Not performative. Just real.
